Covid-19 cases in Afghanistan reach 840

The Afghan Health Ministry has announced that 56 new positive Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the country over the past 24 hours, the private Tolo News TV reported on 16 April on its website.

This has brought the national tally of Covid-19 cases to 840, the report added.

This includes 37 news cases from Kabul alone. According to the report, 30 people have died due to the virus, and 54 others have recovered from the infection.

Meanwhile, Afghan Health Ministry has warned that if people do not listen to medical advisory, the number of Covid-19 cases and victims will increase.
